Iman Esmail, who is best known by her stage name Imanvi, is gearing up to make her acting debut with the upcoming untitled Prabhas starrer, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
Prabhas is teaming up with Sita Ramam fame director Hanu Raghavapudi, for his next outing in Telugu cinema. The untitled project, which is touted to be a period war drama was recently launched at a grand event held in Hyderabad. The makers of the much-awaited project announced newcomer Iman Esmail, who is best known by her stage name Imanvi, as the leading lady of the film, at the launch. The budding actress instantly became an internet sensation and has been garnering the attention of cinephiles across the globe.
Imanvi is a Los Angeles-based dancer, and choreographer, who has created quite a sensation on social media with her dance videos. The aspiring actress has also garnered attention with her dance workshops, and collaborations with other famous dancers and influencers. According to the reports, Imanvi was born in New Delhi, India, on October 20, 1995, to a Pakistani family that originally hails from Karachi. Her father served in the Pakistan army for some time. The dancer moved to Los Angeles, California, along with her family when she was 8 years old.

Reportedly, Imanvi moved back to New Delhi a couple of years back, to pursue a career in dancing. She is also an aspiring actress, and has earlier appeared in a short film titled ‘Being Sa-rah', in which she played the titular character, a Pakistani immigrant. In an earlier interview with dancer Eshani Patel, Imanvi revealed that she was not formally trained in dance, growing up. Her revelation came out as a big surprise, for her fans and followers.

She credited her mother for showing her the dance career and said: “My mom would show me Rekha ji, Madhuri Dixit ji, Vyjayanthimala ji, all these evergreen, beautiful actresses, and she’d be like, look at their expressions, look at how they move, and the way they use classical movements in their choreography.” Imanvi, who enjoys a massive fan following on social media. She has 872 K followers on Instagram, and 18.2 lakh followers on YouTube.
