May 3, 2024 releases
Every week, there is a plethora of releases in Telugu cinema, but as summer is in full flow, no big films are being released, which is a sad state to see. But come May 3, 2024, there are not one but three medium-budget films featuring popular stars that are ready for release in Telugu cinema. Let us look at them in detail.
First in line is Sabari, a mother-daughter emotional thriller directed by Anil Kaltz. The promos of this film, featuring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female lead, have caught the attention of many. Varalaxmi, who is known to play negative roles in Telugu, plays a doting mother in this film produced by Mahendra. Gopi Sundar is the music director, and Sabari is getting a decent release in Telugu states.

Next in line is Aa Okkati Adakku featuring Allari Naresh and Faria Abdullah as the main leads. The film is about a bachelor who is forced to get married by his family. The special aspect of the film is that Johnny Lever's daughter, Jamie Lever, is making her Telugu debut with this film. The promos have caught on quite well, and there is a positive buzz for this film as Allari Naresh is making a comeback to the comedy genre after a long gap.
Last but not least, promising actor Suhas is back with yet another film, Prasanna Vadanam, a thriller directed by Arjun YK. The film has Payal Radhakrishna and Rashi Singh as the female leads. The film has received a U/A certificate and has spurred good discussions in the film circles. Suhas has promised in most of his interviews that the film will keep you on your toes till the end.
All the above-mentioned films are quite important in the careers of respective stars, and they have been aggressively promoting their films. The booking for these films is open, and it is almost certain that these films will have a slow start as there are not many big stars in them. But if the reviews and word of mouth are good for these films, then the occupancy will surely increase. Let's see what happens.
