Maveeran star Sivakarthikeyan to open his own theatre in THIS city?

It looks like Sivakarthikeyan is all set to start his own theatre or multiplex. The movie hall is being planned in collaboration with Asian Cinemas and it looks like the hall will be named ASK cinemas (Asian Sivakarthikeyan Cinemas) and it will be opened in Chennai. A video about the same is now doing the rounds on social media. It is to be noted that Asian Cinemas opened movie halls in collaboration with Mahesh Babu, Vijay Deverakonda and Allu Arjun.

On the film front, the actor is awaiting the release of Maaveeran, which is all set to hit screens on July 14. The film is directed by Madonne Ashwin and has Aditi Shankar as the leading lady. Sivakarthikeyan had recently dropped a picture on his social media handle in which he stated that he had completed dubbing for his portions. He captioned the picture, "Completed my dubbing for #Maaveeran Extremely happy with this journey and eagerly awaiting to show you what @themadonne and his team has made (sic)."

Sivakarthikeyan is also awaiting the release of the long-delayed science fiction Ayalaan. The film is now slated to hit screens for Deepavali. Ayalaan is directed by Ravi Kumar of Indru Netru Naalai fame, which revolves around time travel. The star cast for Ayalaan includes Rakul Preet Singh, Isha Koppikar, Sharad Kelkar, Yogi Babu.

The makers had released a statement in which they stated that Ayalaan will be Sivakarthikeyan's first pan-Indian release.The statement read, "It also gives us immense pleasure to let you know that 'Ayalaan' will be the first full-length live-action film in Indian cinema to have over 4,500 VFX shots with the alien character playing a pivotal role in the movie. At this moment, I would like to thank Phantom FX, the company behind the CG of many Hollywood movies, for the exceptional CG work they are delivering for Ayalaan."
