Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey have gone pantless, albeit blurry, in promotional launch video of their latest tequila, Pantalones. Released on October 25, the organic and clean tequila has already caught the eye of intrigued netizens.
According to the McConaughey couple’s Instagram, the tequila is “the best thing they’ve [we’ve] made with their [our] pants on.” The video opens with the two riding off on their motorcycles in an agave field, with Matthew musing inquiringly about how and when had tequila lost its way. Camila answers with her own honest question, “Right? Where’s the fun?”
Till then, the suave duo were simply seen riding off into an adventure, when suddenly a pixelated version of otherwise normal Matthew and Camila, appear without pants, speeding away. In the following shots, we suddenly see the two sipping on tequila on their bikes, but before one can gasp with outrage, a quick shot reveals the bikes being driven away on a trailer, along with the adventurous two on top. Matching in outfits and chutzpah, the tequila couple, riding since sunrise, then wander off onto a field, hand-in-hand, with pixelated bottoms, towards a finally fun sunset.
An introduction to the varieties of Pantalones Tequila
The Pantalones Organico Tequila repertoire includes three varieties, Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. While Blanco boasts of ‘notes of honey’ and ‘hint of citrus,’ it is smooth for a quick sip and priced at USD 39.99. Reposado (USD 44.99) and Anejo (USD 49.99) on the other hand have more mature flavours, with the former aged in Oak Whiskey Barrels for 9 months and the proud possessor of a ‘decadent vanilla ‘ and ‘hint of oak’ flavour. The latter, however, has an impressive history of resting for 15 months in American Oak Whiskey Barrels, along with a tingling medley of ‘butterscotch,’ brown sugar,’ as well a comfortable ‘velvety finish.’
