Masti 4: Aftab Shivdasani begins shoot, shares photos with Riteish Deshmukh; Vivek Oberoi missing

Aftab Shivdasani has finally started shooting for his upcoming movie 'Masti 4' with Riteish Deshmukh.

One of the much-awaited films, Masti 4, was confirmed earlier this year. The film, which was originally Indra Kumar’s project, is now being helmed by Milap Zaveri. Now, the latest update is that Aftab Shivdasani has shared a new update revealing that he has not started shooting for the film. On his social media, the actor shared a series of pictures from his first day of shoot along with his co-star, Riteish Deshmukh.

On Sunday, December 15, Aftab Shivdasani took to his Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures from the first day of the shoot. Aftab can be seen holding a clapboard with ‘Masti 4’ written on it in the first photo. The second picture has him posing with his co-star, Riteish Deshmukh. In other pictures, director Milap Zaveri, and veteran actor Jeetendra can also be seen posing with the team. However, from the OG cast members, the only actor that's missing is Vivek Oberoi.

Sharing the post on his Instagram account, Aftab captioned it: "The madness begins. The funniest of them so far. #masti4"

Earlier Vivek Oberoi also skipped the launch of Masti 4. However, he later took to his Instagram handle to tease the film. He posted a funny video of Riteish from the sets and wrote, “#Masti4 is now officially a love story ❤️🤣 the bromance begins! 20 years of madness since the first one! Sorry, I couldn’t make it for the launch boys @milapzaveri @riteishd @aftabshivdasani will see you at the shoot super soon! #Masti."

Meanwhile, the three Masti movies were released in 2004, 2013 and 2016 respectively. Masti 4 was announced in February 2024. The film will be produced by Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria of Maruti International with A Jhunjhunwala and SK Ahluwalia of Waveband Productions.
