MasterChef India season 8

MasterChef India is back with a new season and a new co-host joining the dynamic chef-duo Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar. The last instalment witnessed Nayanjyoti Saikia from Assam as the winner of the show, while season 8 is back for a thrilling championship in the culinary world.

Plot

Based on MasterChef Australia, the Indian version of the culinary championship sees contestants from different parts of the country competing to win the trophy and prize money as the MasterChef of India.

The latest promo features the new contestants of the upcoming series that sees the home cooks sharing their journey and inspiration to take part in the culinary championship. The participants also unveil their objectives through the show.

Judges and Contestants

The last instalment had Garima Arora as the co-judge alongside Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar, while MasterChef India season 8 will see the Indian pastry chef and businesswoman, Pooja Dhingra, as one of the judges alongside the dynamic chef-duo. On the other hand, the top 16 contestants will be chosen to enter the show to compete with each other to finally win the trophy and the prize money. Last season witnessed Nayanjyoti Saikia from Assam as the winner of the show.

MasterChef India season 8 is all set to stream online only on SonyLIV from 16th October at 8 p.m.
