MasterChef India season 7
For the first time in the history of MasterChef India, a contestant failed to plate her prepared dish on time. Dyuti, a professor from Kolkata, finished cooking seven out of eight dishes in the recent challenge but couldn't plate them all and failed to present them in front of the judges. The makers shared a snippet from the latest episode that sees the home cook explaining how it all happened.
The latest video begins with chef Garima Arora confirming the guest chef the number of dishes that were supposed to go on the plate. She asks the latter, "The challenge was to put a total of eight dishes on a plate, right chef?" She then turns to the contestant and firmly asks, "Seven out of eight of your dishes were already prepared that you know have been cooked well and could have been set on the plate. Just because of one element you did not put anything on the plate? Is that right?" Priyanka nods and says, "Yeah."
Moving on actor-star chef Ranveer Brar asks Priyanka about her thoughts on plating her dish in 10 seconds, to which the latter replies that she definitely couldn't have plated all of her seven elements in 10 seconds. He further asks her how early should the plating start, to which the home cook replies that at least 10 minutes.
The makers shared the montage on the Sony TV channel's official Instagram handle with a dramatic quote in the caption that reads, " 8 Mein Se 7 Elements Ready Hone Par Bhi Nahi Ki Iss Home Cook Ne Plating MasterChef India 20th January 2023 #reelsonsony #reelsonsonyentertainmenttelevision #MasterChefIndia (sic)."
