Marvel Studios’ Eternals will hit theatres on November 5, 2021
Marvel Entertainment dropped an exciting video item ahead of its most-anticipated release Eternals. Entitled ‘Forever’, the video suggests that the Marvel Universe is about to change forever. Portraying the Eternals, it once again reminds the audience that this is going to be unlike any Marvel movie they have ever seen.
Helmed by the Oscar winner Chloe Zhao, the debut of this alien superteam movie was pushed back a year due to the pandemic. After a long wait, the team had already announced the release date to be on November 5, when the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies will make their comeback in theatres.
Being the next superpowered group to join the MCU, the official synopsis of the Eternals acknowledge them as “ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years.” It further explains that they will follow the events of Avengers Endgame, and reunite against the most ancient enemy of mankind- The Deviants.
The movie has assembled a stellar cast including Angelina Jolie, Kit Harington, Barry Keoghan, Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek and Lauren Ridloff. It is interesting to note that the movie will reunite Harington and Madden who performed as Jon Snow and Robb Stark in Game Of Thrones.
It is also exciting that the movie will be released in theatres, after the long shut down of the big screen. The team has also clarified earlier that they will launch the same on digital platforms after a 45-day-run in theatres.
