The film's teasers impressed one and all and as the election fever was high in Telangana, the date of October 27, 2023, was perfect for the film's release. Released on a limited number of screens, Martin Luther King earned decent reviews on day one. But as the box office collections were quite low, the film was out of theatres in just the first week of its release.

Popular director Venkatesh Maha also played a key role in this film along with senior actor Naresh. Their performance in the film gives an edge to this political satire.

Martin Luther King was shot under a budget of Rs 5 crores and the makers, Sashikanth and Chakravarthy Ramachandra struck a decent OTT deal with Sony Liv and ended in a safe zone.

The dialogues in Martin Luther King, especially those written about 'vote for money' were appreciated a lot by the critics. Martin Luther King is a sensible drama but has a slow pace. All those who love political dramas with a simple narration will love this honest film.
