Get ready to watch a middle-aged man cracking self-deprecating jokes and poking fun at his relatives. The recent teaser of comedian Gaurav Gupta’s stand-up comedy show Market Down Hai promises this and much more.

The stand-up show, which will be aired on Amazon Prime Video, will have Gaurav narrating funny incidents about the common emotional blackmail dialogues of parents and relatives. He will also be sharing his hilarious experiences as a parent, husband, son and a Delhiite, all laced with his trademark humour.

On Market Down Hai, which is his first stand-up special on Amazon Prime Video, Gaurav said, “I used my life experiences that are hilarious in nature in the stand-up. I am a Baniya and cracking jokes on the Baniya community never gets old for me. I hope the audience will love Market Down Hai as much as they loved my other work of stand up.”

He also thanked the OTT platform. “Thanks to them, a host of comedians have entered the limelight and I too look forward to reaching a larger audience and garner new fans,” he said.

The stand-up comedy will premiere on May 14 on Amazon Prime Video.
