It’s a dream come true moment for singer and actress Marie Osmond to star in The Bold and the Beautiful Soap opera. The 64-year-old star is on cloud nine after her long-awaited dream to act in soap operas turned real with today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. However, it is not her first opportunity, she had earlier passed on a golden chance due to her previous commitments. Osmond looks back at the time and reveals how the dream bucket list came into the picture.

Marie Osmond reflects on her dreams and soap opera character

Television host and music artist Marie Osmond spills the backstory of the first opportunity she landed for the soap opera. She said that it was year 2011 when she was offered a role in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful but couldn’t take it due to her prior work commitments. She revealed how it was a challenge for her to balance things out as she was performing with her brother Danny in a Las Vegas residency at that moment. Osmond also reflected on how she retrospect on her unfulfilled wishes after the residency ended in 2019. The decision to make a bucket list containing the things she wants to pursue in life came into the picture after her 2021 album, Unexpected, debuted at No. 1 spot.

Speaking about her character Von Frankfurt, she told People “She’s got a little ‘attitude going, let’s just say she’s unique. It’s not one [character] that I’ve played before, and I enjoyed that. I love it. You can just channel a few people here and there, and she was fun.” Osmond plays a wealthy countess who is a longtime loyal client of fashion house Forrester Creation and travels to Los Angeles to view the latest collection.

Apart from her soap opera acting dream, Osmond is also letting her adventurous side take a front seat. She took to Instagram to share her recent thrill ride via ziplining with her husband Steve Craig. The bucket list also includes skydiving, Mount climbing, and Iceland visit.

CBS’s series The Bold and Beautiful marks Osmond’s debut as a soap star on October 27 and is currently streaming on Paramount+
