Manushi Chhillar finds response to Prithviraj trailer ‘humbling’

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana

Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj is one of the biggest movies set to hit theatres in the country. Manushi Chhillar, who plays the female lead and Akshay’s love interest in the movie, has now responded to the love she has received since the film’s trailer was released.

“It is amazing that people are appreciating my performance from what they have seen and experienced in the Prithviraj trailer. This is a dream-come-true of a debut for me and I’m hugely grateful that I’m getting to bring Princess Sanyogita’s life come alive on the big screen,” the Miss World 2017 winner said.

Chhillar added that making her debut opposite a massive superstar like Akshay Kumar is a lot of responsibility and that she has given everything to ensure that the role has been done with sincerity and dedication.

She further added that the love she has received from the audiences is humbling and that her phone was buzzing with positivity from people on social media and her supportive fans.

Chhillar plays the role of Prithviraj’s love Princess Sanyogita in the movie. The trailer unveils her scenes with Akshay Kumar, as the two share loving gazes and embraces.

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha, Sonu Sood as the king’s right-hand man Chand Varai, Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar in supporting roles. Dwivedi is known to have helmed a number of historical projects in the past, made for both television and theatres.

Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the historical war drama is set to hit theatres on June 3.
