Manoj Joshi’s Chashni slated for Shemaroo Me release

Manoj Joshi and Divang Thakkar’s 2019 film Chashni is now gearing up for an OTT release. The movie is all set to stream on Shemaroo Me soon.

Chashni is a family drama with a love story at its core. It talks about the two different kinds of love stories, which we better know as ‘newly married couples’ and couples who have been together for quite some time.

Manoj and Divang, who play the lead roles, are also opposites in nature in the film. While Manoj is more closed about his feelings towards his wife, Divang leaves no leaf unturned to express his love to his female partner.

The two balance out each other and that is exactly what happens when they meet. An introvert, played by Manoj, gets the guts to tell his wife how he feels about her all thanks to Divang’s character, who plays his mentor in the film.

Shot amidst a grand setting, Chashni promises to be a visual delight. Shemaroo Me is yet to announce a release date for the film.

The Abhin Sharma and Manthan Purohit directorial also stars Maira Doshi, Sejal Shah, Ojas Raval, Ashish Bhatt, Vaidehi Upadhya and Kapildev Shukla in significant roles.

Meanwhile, Manoj Joshi, who played a pivotal role in the Hindi film Hungama, might reprise his role in the second instalment of the film. The actor played the role of Inspector Waghmare, who was the reason ‘Raja’ Rajpal Yadav escaped from the motel he was living in and turned into a complete psycho after reaching his breaking point.
