Manoj Bajpayee dismisses reports of him, Kay Kay Menon reuniting in Neeraj Pandey's upcoming thriller: 'Kab hua ye?'

Recently, a publication reported that Manoj Bajpayee and Kay Kay Menon are all set to star in Neeraj Pandey's upcoming thriller film. However, The Family Man actor dismissed the report.

Manoj Bajpayee and Kay Kay Menon are two of the most iconic actors in the film industry. They never fail to mesmerize the viewers with their amazing acting talent. Fans want them to collaborate on a film or a series. The two acting stalwarts have barely collaborated, barring one film and that is Sajeev Sharma's Saat Uchakkey. Recently, a news report claimed that the actors are reuniting for Neeraj Pandey's thriller film on Netflix. However, the report is now dismissed by Manoj Bajpayee.

Pinkvilla recently reported that Manoj Bajpayee and Kay Kay Menon are reuniting for a thriller film, directed by Neeraj Pandey. Days after the report, Manoj took to his X handle and quoted the publication's journalist and wrote, “Kab hua ye?” (When did this happen?).

He also quoted another publication and penned, “Hahaha kaha se ye khabar shuru hote hai bhai?” (Where do these news originate from?).

Even though the report is now dismissed by Manoj, fans expressed their wish to see the two actors collaborating again.

Manoj and Kay Kay's collabs with Neeraj Pandey

Both Manoj and Kay Kay have collaborated with Neeraj Pandey multiple times.

Bajpayee starred in the filmmaker's 2013 period heist thriller Special 26 and 2018 spy thriller Aiyaary. He was also featured in Neeraj's productions like Naam Shabana (2017) and Missing (2018). Meanwhile, Kay Kay has starred in Neeraj's spy thriller show Special Ops.

Manoj recently wrapped up the shoot of The Family Man 3. The third season of Raj & DK's spy show will be available on Prime Video on Diwali 2025. Sharing a story on his Instagram account, the actor wrote, "2024 Shoot Wrap." He captioned it, "Shooting wrapped!! For Family Man 3! Aur thoda intezar.”

He will reprise his role of Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man leading a double life as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional division of the National Investigation Agency.

In a recent interview with Variety, Manoj Bajpayee described Season 3 as bigger and more complex. “Season 3 is going to be far bigger, and the story is far more complicated this time,” he teased. “Srikant Tiwari is in a much, much bigger soup, and now he has to come out of it—not just to save himself, but also his family and his job.”
