Manjummel Boys Telugu release date: The long wait is over! The Telugu version of the Malayalam blockbuster Manjummel Boys is all set to be released in theatres on April 6. The survival drama is directed by Chidambaram and stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Basi, Balu Varghese, Ganapati S Poduval, Jean Paul Lal, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Arjun Kurian in important roles. It is based on real-life events of a group of friends who try to rescue their friend who got trapped in Kodaikanal's Guna Cave in 2006.
The Telugu version of Manjummel Boys has been purchased by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili of Mythri Movie Makers. The movie will be released in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on April 6, making it a perfect summer treat for movie buffs. The film will be released in Telugu with the original title.

With the delay in the release of the Telugu version of the movie due to the ongoing election buzz, the makers of Manjummel Boys seem to have found the perfect opportunity to maximise the movie's box office potential.

The makers had earlier confirmed that they would only begin to plan the digital release for Manjummel Boys following the end of its theatrical run in Telugu states. According to reports, the film is expected to hit streaming platforms in the later half of April.
Manjummel Boys has exceeded all expectations to become one of the biggest blockbusters of 2024 so far. The film, shot on a shoestring budget, has already made more than Rs 200 crore worldwide. The film's success was driven by its ability to grab the attention of fans in Tamil Nadu of Kamal Haasan's 1991 film Guna.
