The latest buzz is that Malayalam director Chidambaram, who is basking in the success of his latest movie Manjummel Boys is set to make its debut in Tamil cinema. Reportedly, he has been roped into direct Tamil star Dhanush in his next directorial outing. An official confirmation, however, on the same is awaited.
Speculations about Chidambaram's upcoming collaboration with Dhanush have surfaced days after a meeting between them. In light of the massive success of Manjummel Boys in Tamil Nadu, Chidambaram met Dhanush and expressed joy after receiving praise from him. "Thank you for the love and reception," the director had captioned.

It's said that the said project will be bankrolled by Romeo Pictures, the company that produced Valimai Nenjukku Needhi and Thunivu among others. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
