As expected, Manjummel Boys is also performing exceptionally well at all the rest of India’s centers, especially in Tamil Nadu. For the uninitiated, director Chidambaram and his team have paid tribute to the Kamal Haasan starring classic film Gunaa, which was released in 1991, and the famous song ‘Kanmani Anbodu’ in the survival drama, which revolves around the famous Gunaa caves of Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. The reports suggest that this factor has evidently clicked with Tamil audiences across the globe.
