Manjummel Boys Box Office Day 8: The Chidambaram directorial has now earned blockbuster status and has set some major records with its domestic and overseas collections.
Manjummel Boys, the survival drama that is helmed by young filmmaker Chidambaram is on its way to emerging as one of the all-time highest-grossers in Malayalam cinema. When it completed the first 8 days of its release, the movie, which stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, and others in lead roles, made a total box office collection of Rs 53 crore from its worldwide run.
Interestingly, Manjummel Boys also set some major new records at both the domestic and overseas box office when it completed 8 days in theatres. If things proceed at the same rate, the multi-starrer will enter the Rs 100 crore club of the Malayalam film industry within its lifetime run.
As per the latest reports from trade experts, Manjummel Boys has now made a total box office collection of Rs 53 crore from its worldwide run so far. Interestingly, the survival drama has made around Rs 25 crore at the Kerala box office alone in the first 8 days of its release.
Soubin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi’s film has also had a terrific opening at the Tamil Nadu box office. As per the reports, the movie has minted over Rs. 3.8 crore from the state so far. The domestic collection, on the other hand, has already crossed the Rs. 30 crore mark.

Manjummel Boys has now emerged as the top Malayalam grosser in quite a few overseas release centres, including New Zealand. The survival drama is also set to break the collection record of the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Kurup and emerge as the all-time highest Malayalam grosser in Tamil Nadu. As expected, the movie has now also emerged as the second highest grossing Malayalam film of 2024, beating the recently released period horror film Bramayugam, which stars Mammootty in the lead role.
Meanwhile, the team of Manjummel Boys is now celebrating the excellent performance by visiting big names in the Tamil film industry, including legendary actor Kamal Haasan, National Award-winner Dhanush, and actor-producer Udhayanidhi Stalin. The survival thriller is expected to enter the Rs 100 crore club before it exits from theatres.
