Manjummel Boys Box Office Collection: The survival drama, which features Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Deepak Parambol, and others, has now emerged as the second all-time highest grossing film in Malayalam. When it completed the first 19 days of its release, the Chidambaram directorial made a total collection of around Rs. 163 crore from the worldwide box office. Manjummel Boys is now also set to surpass the lifetime collections of Tamil blockbusters Jailer and Leo in Kerala.
As per the recent updates, Manjummel Boys has now crossed the Rs. 160 crore mark at the worldwide box office, having completed the first 19 days of its release. The Chidambaram directorial has reportedly made a total gross collection of over Rs. 163 crore, thus also emerging as the second Malayalam film in history, after Jude Anthany Joseph’s 2018, to touch this milestone. The survival thriller has been performing exceptionally well even on weekdays, thanks to the extraordinary reviews and word-of-mouth publicity.
Trade experts also suggest that Manjummel Boys is now set to beat the lifetime collections of Tamil blockbusters Jailer and Leo in Kerala today (which is Day 20 at the theatres). It is indeed a massive achievement for the film, which is not headlined by the biggest superstars of the industry. When it comes to the Tamil Nadu collection, Manjummel Boys has already crossed the Rs. 40 crore mark thus emerging as the first-ever Malayalam film to touch this foot.
It is now confirmed that Manjummel Boys has all the possibilities to open the Rs. 200 crore club in Malayalam cinema within its lifetime run at the theatres. The increasing audience rush has resulted in the Chidambaram directorial performing better than its opening week and its third week at the theatres. The movie is expected to emerge as the all-time highest grossing Malayalam film, beating 2018 by the end of this week.
