Manjummel Boys Box Office: The Chidambaram directorial has now emerged as the third all-time highest-grossing Malayalam film, surpassing the lifetime collections of Mohanlal’s Lucifer.

Manjummel Boys Box Office – The survival thriller has been winning the hearts of audiences across the globe with its great making and performances. The Chidambaram directorial, which hit the theatres on February 22, 2024, has now crossed the Rs. 130 crore mark at the worldwide box office, when it completed the first 16 days of its release. Interestingly, Manjummel Boys has now emerged as the third all-time highest-grossing film, by surpassing the lifetime collection of Mohanlal’s Lucifer.

Manjummel Boys box office – Surpasses lifetime collections of Lucifer

As per the recent updates from the trade experts, Manjummel Boys has made a total worldwide collection of over Rs. 130 crore, within the first 16 days of its release. The movie, which stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Deepak Parambol, and others in the lead roles, has thus emerged as the third all-time highest grossing Malayalam film in history. Interestingly, Manjummel Boys has now also surpassed the lifetime collections of the 2019-released Mohanlal starrer Lucifer, which is helmed by actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Interestingly, the survival thriller has now crossed the Rs. 26 crore mark in Tamil Nadu, where the movie registered its biggest box office collections after Kerala and overseas. The total Kerala collection, on the other hand, is now inching towards the Rs. 50 crore mark. Thus, Manjummel Boys has now also emerged as the first film to touch the Rs. 100 crore mark, much before entering the Rs. 50 club in its home state, Kerala.

Manjummel Boys to break the collection record of Pulimurugan

In that case, it is now safe to assume that Manjummel Boys will soon break the lifetime collections record set by Pulimurugan, the blockbuster movie which marked the first collaboration of Mohanlal and director Vysakh, soon. In that case, the Chidambaram directorial will also emerge as the second all-time highest grossing movie of Malayalam cinema, soon. The multi-starrer is expected to achieve these feet by the end of this weekend.
