Director Ajay Bhupathi made a sensational start to his career with the blockbuster hit RX100. With the success of the film, the lead pair Karthikeya and Payal Rajput became overnight sensations in Telugu cinema. Post this film, he made a multi-starrer with Sharwanand and Siddharth titled Maha Samudram. The film ended as a big flop hereby disappointing one and all.

Now, after a gap of one year, he has teamed up with his favorite actress Payal Rajput for his next titled Mangalavaaram. Payal Rajput's first look as Shailaj garnered immense attention and applause from the audience. Leaving no stone unturned in the making, the team has successfully wrapped up the 99 days of shoot today and are now heading to the post production works.

Producers Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M said that the filming included 48 days of day shoot and 51 days of night shoot. Our director Ajay Bhupathi has made this film in a genre that’s never-seen-before on Indian screen. The makers also revealed that the teaser of the film will be released soon. Interestingly, director Ajay Bhupathi is debuting as a producer along with Swathi Gunupati and Suresh Varma M.

When asked to reveal more about the film, Ajay Bhupati said “Mangalavaaram is a village-based action-thriller. There are 30 characters in the story and each character has got a motive and will be showcased in a thrilling manner. Kantara’ fame Ajaneesh Loknath is scoring music for this film and the makers say that the background score is going to be a major highlight of the film.
