Mammootty’s next release will be Kaathal: The Core, which is expected to hit theatres in May
Malayalam megastar Mammootty’s latest look has already got the fans excited about his upcoming movie Bazooka, which is helmed by Deeno Dennis. The actor recently shared a photo in a white kurta, along with flaunting his beard and slightly overgrown hair.
The actor, who was last seen in the Telugu action-thriller Agent captioned the photo, “Taking a backseat”, but fans were quick to point out on social media that that megastar always steals the spotlight wherever he goes. With his latest look, we can’t agree more.
Mammootty was set to begin shooting for Bazooka, which was supposed to go on floor by the end of April. However, the actor’s mother, Fathima Ismail, had passed away due to age-related ailments on April 21. She was 93.
The upcoming movie, which also has Gautham Vasudev Menon and Shine Tom Chacko, is set to go on floors soon and the megastar’s fans are already excited about what’s in store. In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Deeno said that it’s a slick and stylish thriller, which has a lot of interesting elements that have rarely been explored in Malayalam cinema.
“It’s a thriller; I don’t want to reveal more. People will understand more about what a game thriller is once they watch the movie,” he said, adding that the movie has a lot of young technicians including cinematographer Nimish Ravi, art director Aneesh Nadodi, music director Midhun Mukundan and editor Nishad Yusef.
