Bazooka, helmed by the debutant Deeno Dennis, is touted to be the first game thriller in Malayalam. The movie, starring Mammootty was shot in Kochi, Coimbatore and Bangalore. The latest is that the actor, who has wrapped up his portions for the movie, is said to join the Jayaram-starrer Abraham Ozler, helmed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. We hear that Mammootty is playing a cameo role in the film. The first look of the project promises a thriller; Jayaram is seen with a rugged and intense look. Abraham Ozler also marks the comeback of Jayaram to Mollywood after a short hiatus. He was last seen in Makal.
Neetha Pillai, known for films like Poomaram and Paappan, essays the female lead in Bazooka. Its first look poster featured Mammootty in a stylish avatar. The film also has the presence of actors like Shine Tom Chacko and Gautham Vasudev Menon. Shine was last seen alongside Mammootty in Christopher, helmed by B Unnikrishnan.
Bazooka's cinematography will be handled by Nimish Ravi, while editing is done by Nishadh Yusuf, known for his work in Thallumaala. Rorschach composer Midhun Mukundan will be scoring the music, with action choreography being handled by Stunt Silva.
Meanwhile, Mammootty, who has won his sixth Best Actor Award in the Kerala State Awards 2023 for the film Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam. is gearing up for his new releases. His upcoming releases are Kaathal: The Core, Kannur Squad and Kadugannawa Oru Yathra. He will be seen alongside Jyothika in Jeo Baby's Kaathal: The Core. Mammootty essays a police officer in Kannur Squad, helmed by Roby Varghese Raj. The movie is touted to be an investigative thriller, in which the actor's character leads a team specialized in tracking elusive criminals.
