Mammootty to drop major updates on his upcoming projects on THIS date?

Mammootty has an exciting line-up of upcoming projects in the pipeline. The megastar is expected to make some big announcements on the same, in September 2024.

Mammootty is going through an exciting acting phase, with promising projects back-to-back. The megastar, who is on a signing spree, won hearts in the first half of 2024 with the much-loved period horror film Bramayugam and action-comedy Turbo. As reported earlier, Mammootty is currently busy filming his next project, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The veteran actor, who has a massive line-up, is expected to make some major announcements on September 7, 2024, on the occasion of his birthday.

Mammootty to make big announcements on his birthday

The megastar is reportedly planning to drop some major updates on his upcoming projects, on the special occasion of his 73rd birthday. If the reports are to be believed, Mammootty might officially reveal the first look and title of his upcoming crime drama, which marks the Malayalam directorial debut of senior filmmaker-turned-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon, on his birthday. Mammootty’s other upcoming projects, including newcomer Jithin K Jose’s directorial venture the Amal Neerad project, and Mahesh Narayanan’s political thriller, are also expected to be announced on the same day.

Mammootty’s work front

As reported earlier, Mammootty is set to play the role of a private detective, who is on a mission to solve a case, in the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial. The much-awaited project, which is rumoured to be titled Mr. Detective, is slated to hit the big screens in December 2024. Before the release of the crime drama, Mammootty and Gautham Menon’s other upcoming project, Bazooka will hit the theatres in October or November of 2024. The game thriller is directed by newcomer Deeno Dennis.

Mammootty is expected to start shooting for the untitled project, helmed by newcomer Jithin K Jose, by the end of September 2024. After wrapping up this film, the megastar will join hands with Bheeshma Parvam director Amal Neerad yet again, for an action drama. However, the duo is reportedly not reviving their long-delayed film Bilal, anytime soon. Later, the veteran actor will join hands with editor-filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan for a political thriller, which will also feature another superstar in the lead role.
