Mammootty’s Bramayugam, directed by Rahul Sadasivan, will be released in theatres on February 15

Mammootty, who is one of the top leading actors in India, has never failed to enthral the audience with his varied characters and diverse range of films. While anticipation keeps mounting on what the Malayalam superstar's next film will be, we have already reported that Bramayugam will hit the theatres on February 15.
With the promotional posters mounting the interest the project has garnered, the latest is that the audience will be witnessing the film entirely in black and white. The news has further piqued the interest the project has garnered.
Adding to the excitement of the film, the makers have indicated that it will be presented in monochrome. "Experience Bramayugam only in black and white," tweeted Mammootty while sharing a new poster of the film. Bramayugam is written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, who earlier made the psychological horror film Bhoothakalam, starring Revathi and Shane Nigam. The upcoming film will mark the director’s sophomore film and is expected to be a horror thriller. Arjun Asokan will play a prominent part in the film.

The recent reports also suggest that Bramayugam will have a massive release across Kerala, with around 350 screens already charted. After the release of the official trailer, there are high chances for the screen count to increase, with a huge number of fans showing up. When it comes to the overseas release, the Rahul Sadasivan directorial is set to emerge as one of the megastar’s all-time biggest releases.

Mammootty was last seen in Kaathal - The Core alongside Jyothika. The film, helmed by Jeo Baby of The Great Indian Kitchen fame, shows Mammootty playing a homosexual character. The film met with a positive reception, earning the actor laurels for his choice to play a character that many superstars have yet to take up. The actor, whose Bheeshma Parvam, Puzhu, Rorschach, and Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakam were met with positive reception, has been one of the veteran artists to experiment with his acting chops, while adhering to modern day’s sensibilities.
