Mammootty to play a cameo in Naslen-Kalyani Priyadarshan's film?

Photos of Mammootty visiting the sets of Naslen and Kalyani Priyadarshan's next Malayalam movie have been making the rounds on social media. To the surprise of his fans, new rumours suggest that the Malayalam megastar would make a brief appearance in this untitled project. Although he may be seen conversing with the actors and crew of the movie in photos, the directors have not officially confirmed Mammootty's involvement in the project.

Naslen and Kalyani Priyadarshan's upcoming film

On September 12, the puja ceremony for the film took place. The movie, which is helmed by Dominic Arun, is expected to be an interesting romantic comedy by fans of the lead stars. Wayfarer Films of Dulquer Salmaan has bankrolled it. This is the actor's production company's seventh project. Nimish Ravi, who has experience with Kurup and Luca, is in charge of the camera work.

Actress Santhy Balachandran wrote the screenplay for this film. On her Instagram feed, she had expressed her excitement at becoming a screenwriter for the first time. "A debut that has been several years in the making — my first official screenwriting credit for a feature film," she wrote on a post. In the upcoming days, more information on the movie's title and cast members is anticipated.

Mammootty's upcoming films

The actor is playing the lead role in Jithin K Jose's upcoming movie. It has been reported that on September 25, the film's production in Nagercoil began. Based on the latest reports, Mammootty is expected to play a villain in this project, produced by his production house, Mammootty Kampany.

The Malayalam megastar is also starring in Dominic and The Ladies' Purse, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, as a private investigator. Filming for this crime drama film started in July in Kochi. The megastar's role in this movie is reportedly totally unrelated to his previous police characters. According to insiders, the Bramayugam star has a carefree and easygoing role in the film. Mammootty's game thriller Bazooka is set to hit the big screens soon.
