Malli Modalaindi release date: When and where to watch Sumanth, Naina Ganguly's drama on OTT

The film, which also stars Varshini Sounderajan, Suhasini in crucial roles, is directed by TG Keerthi Kumar

Actor Sumanth, last seen in the crime drama Kapatadhaari, is gearing up for his first release in 2022. His next film, Malli Modalaindi, a relationship drama, where he unites with Varshini Sounderajan and Naina Ganguly, is heading for a direct-to-OTT release on the noted streaming platform ZEE5. The film directed by TG Keerthi Kumar is slated to have its global premiere on ZEE5 on February 11.

The film is bankrolled by K Rajasekhar Reddy of ED Entertainment (for which Charan Tej Uppalapati is the CEO) while Anup Rubens, who scored music for the Sankranthi hit Bangarraju, is the composer of the same. The first look, character posters, teaser, and trailer of Malli Modalaindi are already out, with the song Alone Alone, a number sung by Sid Sriram, turning out to be a huge hit with music lovers.

The plot revolves around a man, who, on the cusp of a divorce, falls in love with his lawyer. Varshini Sounderajan is cast as Sumanth's wife in the film, with Naina Ganguly playing the lawyer. Posani Krishna Murali, Suhasini Maniratnam, Prudhvi Raj, Vennela Kishore and Annapurna essay important roles in the relationship drama.

Malli Modalindi is cinematographed by Shiva.GRN, with Pradeep E Ragav handling the edits. Arjun Surisetty is the art director.
