The movie narrates the story of Madison, a woman who is terrified of her visions and nightmares about people murdered brutally. The torment only continues when she discovers her horrid dreams coming true.
The story digs into her troubled past about which she has very little memory of. She later feels that her constant nightmares could be because of a guy from her past named Gabriel. She watches a video of her when she was little and finds herself talking to a mysterious spooky being named Gabriel, whom she addresses as ‘the Devil’. As Gabriel continues the mass murder, would Madison become one of his victims too?
The official trailer of the film dropped on July 21 this year. The fans have been eagerly waiting for its release ever since and have high expectations since the film is being helmed by James Wan.
The horror flick is a James Wan Original since his film Insidious in 2011. It is slated for a theatrical release worldwide and a release on HBO Max in the US on September 10 by Warner Bros. Pictures under the banner of New Line Cinema.
