Fans awaiting an update from the makers of Mohanlal’s Malaikottai Vaaliban might not have to wait much longer. The team, we hear, is set to release the first look of Mohanlal’s character from the Lijo Jose Pellissery next month on Vishu.

The film, which went on floors earlier this year in Rajasthan, has had schedules in Jaisalmer and Pokhran and we hear that the team will wrap up its current schedule on April 8. Mohanlal will then head to Tunisia to complete the shoot of Jeethu Joseph’s Ram.

Mohanlal, who reportedly plays a wrestler in the PS Rafeeque-scripted film, will be seen in two get-ups in the movie. The makers are planning to unveil one of those looks during the first official character poster from the big-budget film, which is also Lijo’s most expensive project till date.

The actor has been undergoing rigorous physical training to get in shape for the role, which is also physically demanding. The team had also shot a massive stunt sequence involving close to a thousand junior artistes during the Pokhran schedule recently.

For the next few weeks, Mohanlal will be shuttling from Rajasthan to Mumbai during the weekends to shoot Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 as well. The actor will resume his role as the host of the reality show, which is set to kick off from March 26. A source from Asianet tells us, “We will be travelling to the Bigg Boss sets in Mumbai for a few weeks to shoot the weekend episodes.”

Meanwhile, it’s yet to be seen how the team would manage the travel in April, when Mohanlal heads to Tunisia for Ram. The upcoming schedule for Jeethu’s film isn’t expected to be a long one as the team had previously shot a few portions in Morocco and Tunisia. The movie also has a few pending portions to be canned in the UK and Israel.
