Makers of Ram Charan, Shankar's big budget flick, RC 15, to spend 10 crores for a stunt sequence

The multilingual project which has Kiara Advani playing the female lead will hit the screens in 2023,

Looks like Shankar is leaving no stone unturned to make his ambitious project, tentatively titled RC 15, a grand one. The shooting of the film has been happening at a village Rajahmundry recently. According to a source, a crucial sequence featuring Ram Charan, has been shot at this small town in Andhra Pradesh.

It is now heard that the makers are planning to spend a bomb for an important action scene in the movie. The grapevine has it that 10 crores will be spend only for this particular stand alone fight which is expected to be one of the highlights of the multilingual movie.

RC 15 is being produced by veteran Tollywood producer Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The project is his second film in Tamil after Indian 2, which also has Shankar at the helm. The shooting of the Kamal Haasan-starrer was stalled last year owing to a few issues.

Though the shooting was supposed to resume towards the end of last year, Kamal got busy with Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram, which is almost complete. It is expected that Indian 2 will go on floors again after RC 15 is wrapped up.

Meanwhile, it is also heard that RC 15 will have Ram Charan playing dual roles, that of a father and a son. The actor is said to be sporting two different looks for his characters. A still of the actor which has him sporting an unusual moustache has been doing the rounds on social media.

Kiara Advani plays the female lead in the project which also has Jayaram, Sunil and Anjali among others in crucial roles. Ram Charan and Kiara Advani were earlier seen together in Tollywood flick, Vinaya Vidheya Rama (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar), which marked the latter's second film in Telugu.
