Vishnu Manchu, who was last seen in the cyber crime thriller Mosagallu, is returning to his forte with his next release, Ginna. The film is a madcap entertainer on the lines of his popular films like Dhee, Doosukeltha and Denikaina Ready. Gangster Gangaraju fame Eeshaan Suryaah is helming the entertainer in which Sunny Leone, Paayal Rajput are cast as the female leads. Ginna is produced by Vishnu himself under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory.
The teaser of Ginna was launched on a grand note in AMB Cinemas, Hyderabad with the lead cast and crew in attendance. The premise of the film is perfectly set up for a slapstick comedy, where Ginna and his team arranges tent houses for weddings. The premise is based on the trials and tribulations of the group and the challenges they need to confront in the middle of a wedding. Kona Venkat's stamp as a writer is very evident with his trademark dialogues and humour.
The film looks like a mishmash of many genres - humour, romance, action and an element of horror too (if we go by a few frames in the teaser). At the teaser launch, Vishnu said that Ginna was a film close to his heart and conveyed his gratitude to composer Anup Rubens for getting his daughters Ariaana and Viviana to croon for an important song. He thanked director G Nageswara Reddy for his timely help all through his career and labelled Ginna a laugh riot, praising his co-actors.
Writer-producer Kona Venkat mentioned that Ginna will definitely be another blockbuster in his career and claimed that Vishnu has a unique comedy timing, on and off screen. He opines that the story perfectly complemented his strengths and said Sunny Leone was their first choice to play a key role in it. Payal Rajput stated that the teaser was only the tip of the iceberg and that the film would touch the hearts of audiences. Sunny thanked South Indian audiences for welcoming her with so much love.
