The excitement around Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film, Maidaan, is clearly visible! A few days ago, the 54-year-old actor generated buzz when he said that he was ready to clash with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff-starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan at the box office. And now, with 11 days remaining for both films to hit the theatres, Ajay Devgn has shared a fresh video footage from Maidaan, instilling patriotism and loyalty.
Ajay Devgn has reminded his fans that Maidaan will be out at the theatres in just 11 days. “#Maidaan mein utrenge gyarah sirf gyarah dinon mein Watch the true story of Coach Syed Abdul Rahim, who changed Indian history with football! #11DaysToMaidaan,” he wrote on his social media handles.
With this message, he has attached a short footage from the trailer of Maidaan. In the footage, Ajay Devgn can be seen motivating his football team players by saying, “Maidaan mein utrenge gyarah par dikhenge ek. (11 players will enter the field to play together as one.)”
Lakhs of social media users have liked Ajay Devgn’s post on his social media handles. Many social media users feel that a blockbuster is loading.
One ardent fan of Ajay Devgn took to microblogging site X and said, “Shaitaan bhi aa raha hai Maidaan main tabahi machaane (Shaitaan is coming to the ground (Maidaan) to create havoc.).”
Shaitaan, for the unfamiliar, was a recent theatrical of Ajay Devgn which minted over Rs 100 crores in India in the first three weeks of March 2024. Many other social media users opined that a ‘blockbuster is loading’.
Maidaan, an upcoming biographical sports drama, will also feature actress Priyamani and actor Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles. The film’s storyline centers around Syed Abdul Rahim, an influential football coach who transformed Indian football from 1952 to 1962. The makers of the film have promised to captivate audiences with a story of perseverance, ambition, and the enduring impact of sports history.
