The fourteenth season of Indian Idol premiered on 7 October 2023, on Sony Entertainment Television, where Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu and Vishal Dadlani have been selected as the judges to nurture the raw talent of aspiring singers handpicked from across the country.

The singing reality show began in 2004, where Anu Malik, Farah Khan, and Sonu Nigam were the judges, and Abhijeet Sawant won the first season.

On November 24, Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna attended Indian Idol Season 14 to promote their upcoming film Animal. The film is currently making huge headlines since the trailer has been dropped. The father-son toxic combination of Ranbir and Anil Kapoor is hitting hard. Despite several criticisms, netizens are going gaga over Ranbir for his violent role.

The memorable part of season 14

However, the most emotional part of Indian Idol 14 was watching Mahesh Bhatt praising his son-in-law Ranbir with sheer excitement. In a video call, he was seen giving a big shout out for Kapoor and saying that he thinks Ranbir is the best father in the world. While talking about Ranbir’s love for his daughter Raha, Bhatt shared that when the Barfi actor looks at Raha, his eyes sparkle instantly.
