Mahesh Babu, Trivikram and team discuss #SSMB28, 'work and chill' in Dubai

The actor and director are reuniting for their third collaboration after Khaleja, Athadu

The much-awaited combo of actor Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram is returning to take audiences on an entertaining ride after Khalejaa and Athadu. The collaboration that features Pooja Hegde as the female lead is being bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. S Thaman has been roped in to score the music. The film is expected to have a second female lead as well - a role that's very likely to be grabbed by Meenakshi Chaudhury. The team of the project, tentatively titled SSMB28, had met at Dubai earlier today.

"Work and chill... productive afternoon with the team!! #TrivikramSrinivas @vamsi84 @MusicThaman #Dubai," Mahesh Babu posted on his social media handle sharing a picutre where's seen along with director Trivikram Srinivas, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and composer S Thaman. The production house also released another image where Trivikram and Mahesh are casually chatting in a picturesque location.

The untitled film is expected to commence shoot once the actor and the director finish their current commitments. While Mahesh Babu has almost wrapped up filming for Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Trivikram is working on the last leg of Bheemla Nayak's shoot, for which he has written the screenplay and dialogues. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is set to hit theatres on April 1,2022 whereas Bheemla Nayak is headed for a Shiva Ratri release on February 25,2022. After Trivikram's film, Mahesh Babu will team up with director SS Rajamouli for the first time for a pan-Indian film to be produced by S Gopal Reddy under Sri Durga Arts.
