Mahesh Babu on his next film with S.S. Rajamouli: That’s where all my attention and energies will be

Mahesh Babu and S.S. Rajamouli will be teaming up for the first time, promising a treat to Telugu movie fans.

Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest names in Telugu cinema and is a star with a massive fanbase. The actor’s next will be with director S.S. Rajamouli, who has garnered the attention and love of cinema fans from across the country. Mahesh Babu has now opened up about his upcoming movie with the RRR director.

“Right now, my focus is this big film that’s coming up with SS Rajamouli — that’s where all my attention and energies will be. It’s a dream come true for me.” Mahesh Babu said in an interview with Peacock Magazine. “We’ve been trying to collaborate for a long time and it’s finally happening. I will give all that I have to it and I’m very excited about it,” he added.

The superstar then said that it is important for his work to have a global appeal and what the Baahubali movies did was sensational. Directed by Rajamouli, the Baahubali movies made him a household name across India.

Mahesh Babu further added that they are trying to get their upcoming movie together to get the same kind of global appeal, reaction and appreciation as the Baahubali movies.

Mahesh Babu is currently enjoying the success of his latest action entertainer Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Directed by Parasuram, the movie also stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead. Receiving mixed reviews, the movie has already crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark at the box office.

S.S. Rajamouli’s latest was the period action drama RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead. The movie received positive reviews and went on to cross the Rs. 1000 crore mark at the worldwide boxoffice.
