The cast and crew of Sarkaru Vaari Paata came together for a success meet held in Kurnool yesterday
Probably for the first time ever, the field was thrown open to Mahesh Babu’s fans to come together in great numbers for the success meet of Sarkaru Vaari Paata, where the makers invited movie buffs to the venue without the need for any special passes. The atmosphere in Kurnool was magical yesterday, as the team of Sarkaru Vaari Paata thanked the crowds for the humongous response for the film at the theatres.
Mahesh Babu, who prefers to remain balanced and reserved at public events, too joined the fun as he shook a leg to the film’s song on the stage, giving more reasons for the crowds to cheer. He was reminded of the days where he had shot for Okkadu in the backdrop of Kondareddy Buruju - the iconic sequence where he bashes up Prakash Raj in public light to guard Bhumika in the film. Mahesh added that the event felt like a 100-days-function more than a success meet.
Reportedly Mahesh’s son Gautham had hugged his father after watching Sarkaru Vaari Paata, while his daughter hailed it as his career-best performance and also applauded his looks. “My dad told me that the film’s collection would go well beyond Pokiri and Dookudu but I must give that credit to Parasuram, full marks to him for the way he designed my character. I really enjoyed the romantic track in particular,” he said, while mentioning that the contributions of Keerthy Suresh, S Thaman, technicians, support from producers were quite instrumental for the film’s result.
Parasuram Petla, the writer-director, reminded crowds that Okkadu, which was shot in Kurnool, convinced him to make a career in the industry. “I am happy that I have lived up to the promise of delivering a blockbuster for Mahesh garu. I thank the technicians, crew, producers for always being my side through the making. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is a lifetime gift for me,” he shared. Composer Thaman stated that it was Mahesh Babu’s on-screen energy and Parasuram’s clarity that helped him come up with a hit album and deliver a pulsating background score.
Anantha Sriram, the album’s lyricist, expressed his happiness in penning five songs for the film and told that it is set to break several records during its theatrical run. R Madhie had cranked the camera for the film while AS Prakash is the art director. The film was edited by Marthand K Venkatesh. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is jointly produced by GMB Entertainment, Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus.
