Mahesh Babu and his daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni to appear in a reality show, here’s all you need to know

The television network had released the promo of the special episode of the dance-based reality show on Monday

It’s evident that Sitara Ghattamaneni, the young daughter of actor Mahesh Babu, is here to enjoy spotlight. Ever since her birth, she has been a hot favourite of the paparazzi, being photographed and making media appearances frequently. She even launched her Youtube channel a few years ago which has enjoyed popularity. Good or bad, every little event in her life has been out in the public and looks like, it is not going change much in the future.

Sithara has taken to dancing actively in the recent years in both the traditional and western forms. She even got a scope to flaunt her skills for the lyrical video of Penny, the song from Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, composed by S Thaman. Now, she is taking a step forward and will appear in a dance-based reality show along with her star-father Mahesh Babu.

The promo of her appearance in Zee Telugu’s Dance India Dance along with her father was unveiled on Monday. In the video, she and Mahesh Babu are seen entering the set and receiving a grand welcome from the television management. Mahesh Babu even adds, “I think dance is a celebration. I am extremely happy to be here along with Sitara for the programme.” In the promo, she dances to Penny, along with a group of dancers with unabashed enthusiasm.

This special episode of Dance India Dance will be aired on the channel this weekend - September 4 at 9 pm. Dance India Dance is a reality show where a group of dancers from various corners of the Telugu states are assisted by a choreographer as they compete for the title. It is one of the more popular shows on Zee Telugu and the presence of Mahesh Babu could prove to be a shot in the arm for their TRPs this weekend.

In a recent interview too, Mahesh Babu confirmed Sitara’s interest to enter the film industry and that his son Gautham has other ambitions as of now. The latter is currently in the US for his grad-school education. Mahesh and Namrata Shirodkar had extensively toured around the country recently to help him find the best university to further Gautham’s academic interests. On the work front, Mahesh Babu’s next film is with director Trivikram.
