Directed by G Marthandan, well-known for his comedy movies like Johny Johny Yes Appa and Paavada, Maharani promises to be a thrilling and entertaining experience. The movie's script has been written by Ratheesh Ravi, who also wrote Shane Nigam's Ishq. Bankrolled by Badusha Productions and Sujith Balan under the banner of SB Films, Maharani is set to hit theatres on November 24.

The teaser of Maharani suggests that it will follow in the footsteps of Marthandan's previous works, featuring quirky characters and rustic comedy scenes. Roshan and Shine, who play important roles in the movie, deliver a hilarious performance in the teaser. Although they are not known for their comedy roles, Maharani will put their comedic skills to the test in slapstick scenes. The two actors will portray siblings who face marital issues in the film. Earlier, the team released a second-look poster featuring a girl with a backpack confronting a group of men.
