Mahaan teaser: Vikram, Dhruv Vikram look ready to thrill fans in the Karthik Subbaraj movie

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the movie will see father-son duo of Vikram and Dhruv Vikram on screen for the first time

The makers of the highly anticipated Mahaan have released the official teaser for the movie to the excitement of the fans.

The teaser starts off on an intense note, with a father telling his son the role his grandfather played in banning toddy in the state, and asks him if he would live like a "mahaan".

The trailer then shifts to today's time, where we see Vikram's character talking to a group about how to control bars and liquor sales in Tamil Nadu. The trailer also cuts to other shots of his character as well as Dhruv Vikram's character.

Both the actors look stylish and dapper, both in beards and colourful clothes. Their relationship as a father and son translates well in the movie in case of appearances, as both look identical in many ways.

The teaser also offers the fans a look into the setting of the movie, which has many of the elements director Karthik Subbaraj is known for. From its colour tones to the music, the teaser is able to pique the interest of the viewers.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Lalit Kumar, Mahaan revolves around a series of events that transform the whole life of an ordinary man as well as all the people around him.

The movie will see real life father-son duo of Vikram and Dhruv Vikram share screen space for the first time. Bobby Simha and Simran also play important roles in Mahaan.

The action thriller, which will be Chiyaan Vikram's 60th movie, is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2022.
