When asked as a parent herself, how she connect personally to Tara’s story and her decisions, the actress said that today every parent is anxious and worried about their child. She said that the way society is evolving, she believes people do not always feel safe.

"Thankfully, we have a strong police system and law and order, yet times have changed. It’s not due to any one factor, but because the thought process of people has shifted. As parents, you naturally feel anxious for your children. Tara’s character reflects exactly what society and parents are going through. She is a reflection of me and everyone around. Every parent in this situation today will connect with this character," she added.

What is the story of Maeri?

The narrative of Maeri follows a mother who reaches her breaking point after witnessing a horrific attack on her beloved daughter Manasvi by powerful youths. They seek justice from the law and police. However, it is not enough. As the legal system falls short, Tara goes all out and takes things into her own hands to seek justice for her daughter.
