Madraskaaran trailer is out: Shane Nigam, Kalaiyarasan, Niharika Konidela team up for an intense actioner

Madraskaaran, the upcoming action thriller marks Shane Nigam’s debut in Tamil cinema. The official trailer and release date of the much-awaited project, are now out.

Shane Nigam, best known for his performances in Malayalam cinema, is gearing up to make his Tamil debut with Madraskaaran. The action film, directed by Vaali Moahn Das features popular Telugu actress Niharika Konidela as the female lead. The makers dropped the long-awaited Madraskaaran trailer on social media, along with the film’s release date, today (January 6, 2025). The Shane Nigam starrer is confirmed to hit the theatres on January 10, 2025, as a Pongal special release.

Madraskaaran trailer is out

The 2.02-minute-long trailer of Madraskaaran hints that the film revolves around a young man named Sathya, who belongs to the Pudhukottai area of Tamil Nadu. He is about to tie the knot with his lady love, soon. However, Sathya gets into deep trouble after he locks horns with a powerful gang, and the other people associated with it. From the trailer, it is safe to assume that Madraskaaran is going to present the emotional ride of its two prominent characters, with a dose of violence.

Shane Nigam plays the role of Sathya in the much-awaited film, which features Niharika Konidela as his lady love. Kalaiyarasan plays an equally important role in the much-awaited project. From the trailer, it is safe to assume that both Shane and Kalaiyarasan have equally important roles, in the film. Prasanna S Kumar’s impactful visualisation suggests that Madraskaaran will be an exciting visual experience at the theatre, while Sam CS’ gripping background score elevates the narrative further.

Madraskaaran gets a release date

The Madraskaaran trailer confirms that Vaali Mohan Das’ film will hit the theatres on January 10, 2024, as a Pongal special release. Along with Shane Nigam, Kalaiyarasan, and Niharika Konidela, the much awaited film features a promising star cast including Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, Pandiarajan, Super Subbarayan, and others. R Vasanthakumar handle the film’s editing. Ananth Mani handles the art direction. Madraskaaran is produced by B Jagadish, under the banner SR Productions.
