Fans have said that the actor is ageing in reverse after the actor dropped the look
Madhavan recently dropped his new look and the internet just can't keep calm. In the picture, Madhavan is seen to have shed some kilos for his role in the film and is seen with a moustache. He is also seen sporting sunglasses. Captioning the picture, Madhavan wrote, "Madhavan said, “New look for a new project. Finally, Super excited (sic).'' Though he didn't mention which project the look was for, speculations are rife that it is for Mithran Jawahar's next. The new look has taken the internet by storm, and many fans have come in praise for the way the actor has maintained his look at the age of 52.
Khushbu Sundar, commented on the picture asking, "Who is this young boy??? Looks like I have seen him somewhere. He looks familiar (sic)."To which, Madhavan replied, "Ha ha right back at you . That fountain of youth is hidden close to you home somewhere (sic)."
Another user wrote saying, Madhavan was one actor, who looked the same without a moustache or beard. He wrote, "I think u r one of the heroes looks great with moustache, without moustache, with beard , without beard, with moustache and beard , everything suits you Maddy always a handsome hunk (sic)."
Meanwhile some have speculated that going by his looks the actor might be playing a cop in the film. Interestingly, this will be the first time that Mithran Jawahar will be teaming up with Madhavan. Ponniyin Selvan writer B Jeyamohan has been roped in to pen the dialogues and screenplay of the film. Jeyamohan had earlier stated that the film would be a light-hearted one but not a complete comedy caper. Madhavan had then written to Mithran Jawahar on his social media handle, "Such a pleasure to be joining hands with you sir. I’m so looking forward to working with you and having a great time, doing the film and creating magic (sic)."
Madhavan was last seen in Rocketry, a biopic on the former space scientist Nambi Narayanan. The film was well received by the audience. Before Rocketry, he was seen in Maara, the Tamil remake of the Malayalam film Charlie.
