Sundar C and Vishal’s long-awaited film Madha Gaja Raja is finally set to hit theatres for Pongal, after it was kept unreleased for over 12 years. Madha Gaja Raja is set to release on January 12, and also stars Anjali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Santhanam and others.

Vishal’s Madha Gaja Raja release: Sundar C highlights his favourite portion from climax reel

Only recently, we had reported that actor Vishal's film with director Sundar C titled Madha Gaja Raja is finally going to see daylight. The film is slated to release on January 12, after being delayed for 12 years. With the film back in the news, netizens have been circulating the old interviews of cast and crew of Madha Gaja Raja. One such is Sundar C tipping the audience about a particular portion in the climax reel, where there is a scene with combination of artistes.

"In Madha Gaja Raja, during the climax in the last reel, there is a comedy sequence with actors Vishal, Manobala sir, Mottai Rajendran and Sonu Sood. It spans for about 20 minutes and it is my favourite," Sundar C said. The director had also revealed that the producers of the film had to go through financial troubles which impacted the film’s release on time. "They had held the film from releasing. A lot of people's hard work had gone into the making. Vishal had developed eight packs for the film.”

Madha Gaja Raja release date

Helmed by filmmaker Sundar C, Madha Gaja Raja release on January 12. It touted to be a commercial entertainer and has music by Vijay Antony. It is produced by Gemini Film Circuit. Madha Gaja Raja is third collaboration between Vishal and Sundar C, after Aambala and Action.
