The Madgaon Express trailer was released a while ago. And it is full of fun chaos thanks to the talented likes of Divyendu Sharma, Avinash Tiwary, and Pratik Gandhi.
Madgaon Express trailer
Madgaon Express is a sharp and quirky film that is both feel-good and reminiscent of Kunal Khemu’s own 2000 and 2010 projects like Dhol, Go Goa Gone, and Lootcase. Marking the directorial debut of the dynamic actor, the film is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film's trailer was released today.
Madgaon Express stars a highly talented leading trio comprising the likes of Divyendu Sharma as Dodo, Pratik Gandhi as Pinku and Avinash as Ayush. Bosom buddies since childhood the friends had always wanted to go on a road trip together, despite their different backgrounds and social status.
But their requests had always been rejected or beaten out of them using the rod of logic and parental authority until college. The ending of college life, along with the new inklings of freedom, gives the three besties a chance to go on a trip, as they always wanted to. The trailer offers hilarious mishaps that occur as the three eventually set off on their adventure; hitting a water pump and flipping someone out of the front windscreen from the backseat is just the beginning.
After a dark and dingy ride via a non-airconditioned Madgaon Express, the three arrive at their ultimate destination, Goa. As fun-filled sunny dances and pristine beaches full of beautiful, suntanning women feature on dance numbers, there is a too-good-to-be-true element to it and the viewers are right in this assumption.
Soon after, an accident causes their Goa rented room’s bed to collapse, landing the three and Pinku headfirst, literally, into a pile of cocaine. What follows is a wacky adventure full of cocaine-triggered highs, a numb tongue, and a swinging mood ranging between Kabir Singh and Chhota Pandit from Bhool Bhulaiyaa. At least for Pratik Gandhi’s Pinku.
Dodo and Ayush are trying hard to keep up with it while running from relentless police, misfiring gangsters, and thuggish, shady women. Going to Goa, which had been their nightmare, turns into a dream when they are unable to leave it. Madgaon Express will be hitting theatres on March 22, 2024, and does not deserve to be missed by viewers for its refreshing and humorous premise.
