Madgaon Express box office collection day 5: Kunal Kemmu's comedy-drama film Madgaon Express was doing decent business at the box office but now its earnings have witnessed a drop on day 5. The film, starring Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwari, and Divyendu Sharma, in the lead roles collected just ₹1.50 crore on Tuesday in India.
The film saw a 7.14 percent drop on its 5th day and collected ₹1.50 crore. In the Hindi language, the film has an overall occupancy of 12.75 percent. Madgaon Express marks actor Kunal Kemmu's directorial debut. As per Sacnilk.com, the total collection of the film now stands at ₹11.15 crore in India.
On the day of its release, on March 22, the film started its box office journey by collecting ₹1.5 crore at the box office. The film saw an upward trend on the second, third, and fourth day and collected ₹2.75 crore, ₹2.8 crore, and ₹2.6 crore, respectively. On its fifth day, the film minted ₹1.50 crore, which takes the total collection of the film to ₹11.15 crore in India.

The film kicked off at the box office with good numbers and enjoyed a slate of good collections during the weekend. However, the collections of the film now have dropped and if the film has to stay strong at the ticket window for another week, it needs to pick up. If it doesn't then it won't last in theatres after this week completes. The film is expected to end its lifetime collections in theatres by collecting around ₹15-17 crore.
The narrative of the film revolves around three young boys, who dream about taking a vacation to Goa someday. Their dream does come true, however, it takes a twist and turns into a nightmare as they embark on a train journey via Madgaon Express to reach Goa. Besides Avinash, Pratik, and Divyendu, the film also stars Nora Fatehi, Chhaya Kadan, and Upendra Limaye.
