Made in Heaven on Prime Video: Unlike Season 1, here’s what you can expect in Season 2; details inside

Made in Heaven, a popular drama series, is coming back with its second season. Produced by Excel Entertainment, the series chronicles the lives of Tara and Karan as two wedding planners in a city.

The much-awaited second season of ‘Made in Heaven’ is all set to premiere on August 10, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. With less than five days left for the upcoming season to steal your hearts, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar revealed that the awaited project will throw light on the plight of LGBTQIA+ community and women rights.

Produced by Excel Entertainment, the series chronicles the lives of Tara and Karan as two wedding planners based in Delhi.

Interacting with reporters on August 2 on the trailer launch of Made in Heaven Season 2, Zoya said, “The central two characters of the season are Tara and Karan, they are non-conformists and quite grey. They come with a sense of protectiveness, in a sense, about someone that comes into their lives, they have a strong moral compass. We also lens this show through women, through the LGBTQ community, so it's an expansion of that, thematically. It's been about fitting into society."

The upcoming season of the drama series features actor Arjun Mathur in and as Karan Mehra and actress Sobhita Dhulipala as Tara Khanna.

The first season of Made in Heaven aired in March 2019. The project is a creation of popular filmmakers Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. In the lead roles, actors Sobhita Dhulipala as Tara Khanna, Arjun Mathur as Karan Mehra, Kalki Koechlin as Faiza Naqvi, and Jim Sarbh as Adil Khanna delivered powerful performances.

Season 1 of Made in Heaven consisted of 9 episodes – with nine stories, each different from one other. Season 2 is expected to have seven episodes with seven different stories each.
