Maa Oori Polimera 2 is the sequel to Polimera which skipped its theatrical release and had an OTT release on Hotstar in 2022 during the Covid times. Well, the makers were so confident that they released the second part in the theatres and scored gold at the box office.

The dark thriller was a smash hit at the box office and made just over Rs 20 crore at the box office which is three times its budget and landed the makers in huge profits. Aha bagged the OTT rights to the film and the crime drama which started streaming on December 8, 2023.

Well, the news now is that Polimera 2 has clocked 130 million minutes on Aha and is still going strong. This shows how much the family audience was waiting to watch the film on OTT. The film is trending on top in Aha's most-watched films.

Watch Kadak Singh, Chamak, Scam 2003, Duranga 2 and more on OTTplay, by subscribing to the Jhakaas monthly pack which provides access to 19 OTTs at just ₹49 for the first month.

Satyam Rajesh played the main lead and won applause for his role in the film. The makers will also start Polimera 3 and the news in the film circles is that the budget for the third part has also been increased and the film will have some known actors from Telugu cinema in key roles.

Dr. Anil Vishwanath is the man behind the film and his narration has won the hearts of many. Polimera is set in a small village of Telangana and deals with the topic of black magic. Well, the wait is on for the third part and we need to see what the makers have in store for us.
