He then starred in a family drama titled Maa Nanna Superhero, which was released on October 11, 2024. Although the film received great reviews and featured strong father-son emotions, it didn’t perform that well at the box office.

Maa Nanna Superhero locks its OTT release date and platform

Now, we have learned that Maa Nanna Superhero has secured its OTT platform. ZEE5 has spent a considerable amount to acquire the digital rights to the film, and they will make Maa Nanna Superhero available for streaming from November 15, 2024. This announcement was made through a stylish new poster showcasing the emotional side of the film which has been directed by Abhilash Reddy.

Sayaji Shinde plays the father's role in this film, and his performance was highly appreciated. A notable aspect is that popular choreographer Raju Sundaram played a key role in the film alongside Sai Chand. Maa Nanna Superhero tells the story of a young man who discovers that the father he has been living with is not his biological father. When his real father appears, he faces the dilemma of choosing between the two.

Sudheer Babu delivered a deeply emotional performance in the film, which was praised by critics. The recurring issue with Sudheer Babu’s films is that, despite having a strong story and impressive performances that earn good reviews, they often fail to generate profits for the producers.

The film includes several powerful moments with a deep emotional connection between the father and son.
