Luv Ranjan’s romcom with Ranbir, Shraddha to resume filming

The movie will reportedly begin its third schedule from June 20,

It’s been a start-stop process for a lot of movies during the pandemic. Director Luv Ranjan’s untitled romcom, which has Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead, which was supposed to resume shooting in the second week of May, will now recommence its third schedule from June 20.

According to Mid-Day, a source of the team said that the upcoming schedule will have the filmmaker shooting emotional scenes, featuring the leads, Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor, who play the parents of Ranbir’s character. “After the schedule was cancelled due to the lockdowns in Noida and Mumbai, Luv and co-producer Ankur Garg went back to the drawing board and reworked everyone’s dates. The June leg will be conducted in either Delhi or Uttar Pradesh, depending on where the restrictions are lifted as they require live locations,” the source was quoted as saying.

The movie has locations both in India and abroad including Spain. The source added, “Spain forms the backdrop for a small portion of the rom-com. For now, they are planning to head to the European country in September.”,

Produced by Luv and Ankur Garg, the film is scheduled to release in March 2022. However, it’s not clarified if this untitled film will be a direct OTT release or will hit theatres first.
