The trailer for Netflix's Emmy-nominated anthology Lust Stories 2 has finally arrived. This collection of films features some of the best actors in the business, including Amruta Shubhash, Angad Bedi, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, and Vijay Varma, all of whom lend their talents to the directors' interpretations of the theme of Lust. The film will feature an impressive cast in a never-before-seen guise as they explore the nuances of lust. Ashi Dua and Ronnie Screwvala produced the film, which will make its Netflix debut on June 29, 2023.
Regarding the new collection of erotica, Sujoy explained that this time the lust stories are all about the different shades of Lust. He is grateful that RSVP, Flying Unicorn, and Netflix gave him the chance to tell their lust tale to people in 190 different countries. Neena Gupta, Mrunal, and Angad have brought this straightforward but humorous story to life. It's been fulfilling to have respected companies like Netflix, RSVP, and Flying Unicorn trust him to direct a short film for their acclaimed anthology. He prays that the story will touch the hearts of its viewers.
To elaborate, Konkona Sen Sharma said that she wanted to highlight the exhilaration of a woman gaining her rightfully deserved freedom and taking control of her life in her anthology for Lust Stories 2. When RSVP, Flying Unicorn, and Netlfix asked her to be a part of this initiative, she was beyond ecstatic. For her, as for many others, the subject of lust is taboo. She wanted to do something different, and her fantastic co-writer, Pooja Tolani, made it possible. Amruta and Tillotama were the perfect casting choice; they were in perfect harmony with one another.
